The Department of Pediatric Radiology at Jeonbuk National University Children's Hospital provides diagnosis and medical advice through various diagnostic imaging such as X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and angiography as well as interventional procedures such as ultrasound-guided biopsy and drainage. Diagnostic imaging is operated in consideration of the age of children and adolescents, and images are acquired using the minimum amount of radiation possible, especially for examinations using radiation. The Department of Pediatric Radiology always ensures safe and appropriate examination with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and is also in charge of support such as processing, storage, and transmission of various imaging informati on based on the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
