Cyclotron Institute Introduction

Cyclotron Institute produces radiopharmaceuticals which is used for a diagnosis and treatment of incurable disease in various organs and tissues, and studies the development of new drugs.

It was selected first as the Cyclotron Institute in Jeonbuk in June, 2005, and opened in November, 2008. This center performed supply of short half-life cyclotron radiopharmaceuticals in Jeonbuk, R&D projects with cyclotron, growth of researchers, and education training projects. In 2009, this center was selected for the basic joint research project by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, since that, we have performed the research project related to radiopharmaceuticals, and deduced global research achievements.

We will try to expand the medical availability of radioactive isotopes to be the best research center.
