Emergency Medical Center Introduction

Since it was designated the regional emergency medical center in 1996, the Emergency Medical Center at Jeonbuk National University Hospital has been responsible for performing emergency medical treatment for the Jeonbuk region. As such, it provides 24-hour emergency treatments and management by specialists and professors in the Emergency Medical Department for provision of efficient and professional emergency medical treatment.
Following expansion of the Emergency Center in 2010, it operates systematically to provide more effective emergency treatment, equipped with the latest 42-bed emergency facilities and an emergency medical information system. Accordingly, it executes its role as the best tertiary emergency medical institution and regional emergency medical center in Jeonbuk region with treatment of approximately 35,000 emergency patients annually.

• Professional first aid for the patients with CRP, poisoning, severe trauma, etc.
• Efficient emergency care for severe diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular diseases, and fast treatment related to each special department
